Mrs. Julie Tran - Kindergarten (K4, K5)


Mrs. Tran has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bryan College, with endorsements in Special Education and Early Childhood. She taught for 5 years in the Rhea County School system, 1 year at Dayton City School, and 1 year with the Tennessee Early Intervention program. This is her 7th year teaching at RCA.  She and her husband, Fred, have two children.  Amanda and Kayla attend RCA.

Mrs. Tammi Freuler - 1st & 2nd Grades

Mrs. Freuler has served in a variety of roles at RCA.  This year, she is our 1st & 2nd grade teacher.  She is a graduate of Bryan College.  Mrs. Freuler and her husband, James, have lived in such interesting places as Alaska and Maine.  They have three children.  Her son Judah attends RCA.

Mrs. Elaine Robbins - 3rd & 4th Grades


Mrs. Robbins has her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bryan College. She taught for 6 years in the Rhea County School system at Graysville Elementary before joining Rhea County Academy.  This is her 7th year at RCA.  She and her husband, Steve, have three children:  David, Maria, and Paul.

Mrs. Misti Frailey - 3rd & 4th Grade Aide

Rhea County Academy welcomes Mrs. Frailey.  She is registered a nurse (RN), and has a passion for discipling and teaching students.  Misti and her husband, Chris, have one child.  Jordan attends RCA.

Mrs. Kris Berger - 5th & 6th Grades

Mrs. Michelle Beaton - 7th Grade Math; Afternoon classes (Chapel, P.E., Spanish, Unit Studies).

 Mr. Tim Wehse - Administrator; 5th-8th Grade History; 7th & 8th homeroom.

Mr. Wehse is our first full-time administrator.  This is his third year at RCA.  After serving three years in the United States Army, Mr. Wehse graduated from Bryan College with a degree in Biblical Studies (1991).  He also has a M.A. from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Fl (1996).  Prior to joining the staff at Rhea County Academy, Mr. Wehse served as a pastor in Las Vegas, NV.  Mr. Wehse and his wife, Jodi, have four children.  Celena and TJ attend RCA.
