RCA Board provides a plan for future

The following are the main points of a comprehensive growth plan that has been approved by the Rhea County Academy board.

  • —  Obtaining state-recognized accreditation in the immediate future.
  • —  Providing expanded academic and athletic opportunities as a result of this accreditation.
  •  Provision of senior year (12th grade) classes through a college dual-enrollment program.  This will provide RCA graduates with a year of college credit upon graduation from RCA at no extra cost.
  •   The development of the Rhea County Academy campus on Delaware Ave.  Our building fund goal for 2011-12 school year is $50,000.  We are currently planning to move to the Delaware property location by the fall of 2012.
